Have a Blessed Day!
I’ve heard many people state that they’ve read the Bible. A lot even claim to have researched and studied the different religious concepts. Yet, not only do I NEVER see these folks crack open a book, I don’t see any Bibles or other related literature around. The picture above is of my own Biblical studies bookshelf. Some of the books, as you can see, are tattered and worn thin. A few of them have barely been skimmed through. However, I have them. I NEED them, in order to clarify, research, and formulate my own opinions on the biggest topic of debate in our society: Religion. The image doesn’t show my main study Bible, or the multiple religious tracts, pamphlets and thousands of notes I have taken.
There IS a GOD. The Trinity is REAL.
See, l have no hesitation. I KNOW these things unequivocally. The more I read, and learned about God, the more he showed me. God makes himself known, it’s up to each person to accept or deny the relationship. I have no doubts, and as a result I’ve gained so much. I am no longer afraid of death. I am secure in my faith and my Eternal Serenity. Another great feeling that faith has given me is that I no longer feel alone.. ever. Jesus is my best friend and he accompanies me wherever I go. God is a wise and benevolent being that bestows miracles and very tangible blessings. The Holy Spirit is a wondrous type of light and love that fills me with the greatest Joy and Peace that I’ve ever known.
I’ve become painfully aware lately of the obscene amount of time I spend on my iPhone. When I had my tiny Android with limited capabilities, it was easier to put the phone down and not be in any hurry for more screen time. . Don’t get me wrong.. my iPhone is fantastic! A little too much so, I’m afraid.Continue reading “Truth: I’m addicted to my phone”
We ALL have a responsibility to not spread negativity and hate. It’s becoming a real issue among Americans. We can do better!
The thing is… Some of us don’t even realize that we’re bringing others down.

The phrase, Support Local Music essentially means to say that you ‘Stand by your Band’. I don’t know about you folks, but good music has never let me down. Music has been there through all of my ups and downs; my favorite songs never change; the lyrics don’t lie or cheat. Music has treated me better than any man ever did!Continue reading “What does Supporting Local/Underground Music even mean?”
The unthankful heart… discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings! ~Henry Ward BeecherContinue reading “Happy Day…Be Thankful always!”
This is an excerpt from the Prologue of The End of The World as I Knew It, by Serenity Mask.
I’d like to think that there were great warriors in past centuries, who lived out their lives as if they were the stars of an epic movie. Meeting each challenge with Gusto & Bravado, not loud groans of dread. Life imitating art; or vice versa.
An army of mighty warriors marching together proud and strong, thoroughly enjoying their battles much like so many do today, except only through engrossing themselves in simulated video game fights.
Wait a minute, what? And therein lies part of the problem, my readers. With a vast array of virtual engagements, we’ve become shockingly passive to our REALITY. No wonder there’s such a demand for reality television. I guess that’s the only way some can get it! And sadly, much of the current generation fully believes that the fake goings-on of these actors pretending to be ordinary, is the real deal.
Immersed in the smoke & mirrors world of social media; glued to massive High Definition screens, mesmerized by ‘The Walking Dead’; or spending every bit of free-time binge-watching hour upon hours of the latest trend on Hulu… we just can’t be bothered with the banality of daily life. So, when things start to get out of control, of course we are unprepared. We huff & puff over every nuisance or slight, like spoiled children when they don’t get their way. To have to dredge through the trenches of horrors (traffic & people) and handle these problems? Who has the time?
My God, Americans could never have accomplished anything with that mentality!
It’s so amazing how we change.
Transforming every day.
We never fail to turn the page.
Molding our lives our own way..
Once we break free from heavy chains,
And then learn to have our say..
letting go of all phantom pains,
Learning how to be okay.
Yes, A time comes to find your path,
A time comes to learn to pray…
Drain the past along with the bath..
washing the dirty away..
Only one thing that’s sure In life,
Is that life will always change..
So let’s forego all of the strife.
And release our growing pains.
It’s not so bad, once you see it..
Learn to cherish the good things.
Adopt a happiness habit..
you’ll see quickly what that brings
